The Urban Toolbox is an integrated design and calculation tool that supports taking decisions through clear insight and a good follow-up of these different indicators. It simplifies open communication between government, investor, developer, urban designer, mobility expert, sustainability - environment expert, legal advisor, risk manager, residents ...
It is a 3D-software tool, which visualizes and calculates spatial plans in an intuitive way.
The software processes all relevant spatial information on the one hand and numerical databases on the other and presents possible alternatives in a clear and accessible way. Spatial characteristics of a plan, such as L (layers), FSI (Floor Space Index), GSI (Ground Space Index) and OSR (Open Space Ratio), parking demands... and financial characteristics, like revenues and costs, linked to a phasing, cashflow, maintenance... are automatically calculated in the model.
Built-in spatial and urban design checks prevent unfeasible plans from being generated.
